SAFE HAVEN: STABILITY & HEALING
This initial stage provides a secure, supportive environment where women can stabilize and heal. We offer immediate access to safe housing, nutritious meals, and emotional support. This phase is all about creating a foundation of safety and trust, allowing women to begin their journey toward recovery without fear or instability.

STEP 4
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT: SOCIAL INTEGRATION & SUPPORT
As women build their independence, this phase helps them reconnect with their communities. Through social engagement, volunteering, and peer mentorship, they will build relationships that reinforce their growth and success. It also provides healthy opportunities for them to give back and become leaders in their community.

STEP 2
SELF-DISCOVERY: EMOTIONAL WELLNESS & EMPOWERMENT
In this phase, women work through emotional trauma, rediscovering their worth and potential. Through counseling, therapy, and peer support, they gain the confidence to reclaim control over their lives. Workshops on self-esteem, stress management, and mental health help women recognize their inner strength.

STEP 5
INDEPENDENT LIVING: HOUSING & FINANCIAL
STABILITY
This stage focuses on securing permanent housing and long-term financial stability. The women works on effective budgeting, managing resources, and planning for the future. This support continues as they transition into healthy independent living, proactively assisting in securing affordable housing, employment, childcare, and other resources needed to establish stability in today's society.

STEP 3
SKILL BUILDING: EDUCATION & CAREER DEVELOPMENT
The focus here is on empowering women with the practical tools they need for independence. We offer job readiness training, financial literacy courses, resume building, and educational opportunities tailored to individual needs. This phase emphasizes career development and building new streams of income through workshops and mentorships.

STEP 6
LEADERSHIP & LEGACY: THRIVING & GIVING BACK
In the final stage of our program, women step into leadership roles within their communities. They are encouraged to mentor other women, share their stories, and effectively inspire change. This phase celebrates their success, at Changing Lanes Transitional Housing Organization we are focusing on building a legacy of empowerment and transformation that continues to uplift others.

Housing
Case Management (30%) This program will help families to find and enroll children in schools, secure health services, locate employment, and work to find permanent housing. Support with obtaining vital documents: ID, Social Security card, birth certificate Assistance with accessing public benefits: DPSS, SSI Ongoing individualized support and goal-setting
Job Training & Employment Support (30%) This program will prepare women experiencing homelessness to re-enter the workforce with real-world job skills & knowledge and a renewed self-confidence needed for long- term employment. Services include but are not limited to resume preparation, job search, and skills building. Resume writing and interview preparation Vocational education and career counseling Life skills development for personal and professional growth Job search assistance and employer connections
Linkages to Community Resources (20%) This program will provide comprehensive supportive services that include but are not limited to linkages and referrals for healthcare, substance use, mental health, parenting, vocational training, and educational opportunities. Access to mental, physical, and health services Connections to legal aid, education, childcare, and financial counseling
Transportation Assistance (5%) 5% of our time and resources will be allocated to this program. This program will provide transportation services for program residents. Services include but are not limited to delivering tap cards, taxi vouchers, assistance with ride- sharing, and personal transportation to and from scheduled medical & legal appointments. Rides to therapy, medical appointments, school, and required meetings
Housing Support (5%) 5% of our time and resources will be allocated to this program. This program will provide a safe, stable environment for women experiencing homelessness. Services include but are not limited to shared living, meals, and essentials. Assistance in finding and securing stable housing Guidance for navigating rental programs or housing applications
Volunteer Program & Community Engagement (10%) 10% of our time and resources will be allocated to this program. This program will allow program residents to volunteer within the community, e.g., food banks, senior centers, recreational centers, and shelters. Opportunities for participants to give back: Food banks, senior centers, mentorship (e.g., Big Sisters) Community service projects like neighborhood clean-ups
